Bhoot Trailer Launch: Did Karan Johar Try Setting Up Vicky Kaushal With Someone? Filmmaker Responds
The trailer of Dharma Productions’ Bhoot: The Haunted Ship was released online a while back. It stars Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.

We were at the trailer launch event and during the media interaction, the team braved our questions with ease. We pointed out to Vicky Kaushal that the actors who work with KJo’s Dharma banner are often linked up with their co-stars, so with whom did Karan fix him up with.
Before he could begin, Karan Johar in his inimitable style said, "Mujhe aapne shaadi.com kabse bana diya. Main acha bhala, nirmaata nirdeshak hu, main matchmaker nahin hu. Main logon ke personal life ke andar nahi ghusta.”

Then, we pointed out to Karan that he has played a key role in bringing people together and even cited the example of Ranbir and Alia, to which Vicky Kaushal quickly chipped in saying, “Main mila na. Aapne dekha nahi main kisse mila?” (Pointing out to the poster of his film Bhoot).

Speaking of the film’s trailer, we see Vicky Kaushal who plays a survey officer entering a ship named Sea Bird that has landed on Juhu Beach all of a sudden and the ship is said to be haunted. He observes paranormal and unusual activities around him on the ship.

We also see Bhumi Pednekar in a brief appearance as his wife. The film is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, produced by Dharma and will be releasing on Feb 21, 2020.
